Your welcoming and affordable accommodation in Slave Lake!

Our home  is on the northeast side of town, in a quiet neighbourhood close to walking-trails, the hospital, and playground. It is conveniently located near Highway 88, and just a 2 minute-drive from Highway 2.

The Town of Slave Lake is located approximately 250km (2 1/2 hours) northwest of the City of Edmonton, on the eastern end of Alberta's largest recreational lake. It's current population is around 7000. Slave Lake is a thriving town which still has it's "small town-feeling", even though it has a lot to offer:

Things to do: Why not get use out of our Arctic Ice Centre, the Northern Lakes Aquatic-Center, the Library, the many Playgrounds, the Skateboard-Park, the outside Tennis-court and the not-to-miss C. J. Schurter-Park (located beside the Hospital in the N.E.-side of town) - with it's Water-Splash-Area in the summer and the snow-hill and ice-rink in the winter it promises to be a fun-time for children of all ages.

Different Restaurants offer different food-experiences - try The Point Steakhouse, The Red Pepper Cafe, Tao's, Alimo's Pizzaria, Carlo's Restaurant, Adam's Addition, The Hearthstone Grill and more!

You are invited to enjoy many different things out in nature:

Hiking- there are paved trails in and around town, as well as many hiking-trails in the forests.

Fishing- get a fishing-license right in town and ask for the best places to fish for Walleye and Pike.

Golfing - the Gilwood Golf- and Country-Club is a 9-hole golf-course open to the public.

Boating/Ski-dooing - a boat-launch is conveniently located at The Point Steak and Marina, just a few minutes away.

Kayaking - check out  http://www.wildside.ca for information on Kayaking Adventures and Wilderness Surviving Skills! We can arrange putting a package together for your "wild" vacation - go on Kayak-tours during the day, stay at our B&B for the night.

Quadding- bring your quad and trailer and set out to explore our beautiful surroundings!

Skiing - ski-hills as well as trails for cross-country-skiing are within town-limits.
